I am SO thrilled and honored to make an exciting announcement today. I have been keeping this under wraps, and still, the press release won’t be going out for a few more weeks, but I can announce this:
LE CHÂTEAU is launching a new partnership with Dress for Success to help economically disadvantaged women experience a transformation in their self-esteem and confidence by providing them with professional, high-quality interview attire.
“We believe in the mission of Dress for Success – which emphasizes Dignity, Community, Employment. We want to give back by helping women take charge of their lives,” said Franco Rocchi, Senior Vice President, LE CHÂTEAU.
This Fall, LE CHÂTEAU is welcoming Dress for Success clients into their stores in six cities across Canada. They will be offered exclusive vouchers, allowing them free-of-charge access to LE CHÂTEAU’s latest career wear and will also receive personalized assistance from LE CHÂTEAU’s in-store stylists.
To further promote this noteworthy cause, LE CHÂTEAU is collaborating with high-profile names like Hollywood actress Lauren Holly (Motive, NCIS, Dumb and Dumber, After the Ball), Erica Diamond (Media Personality, Life Coach, Speaker and Editor-in-Chief of the Women’s Lifestyle Blog WomenOnTheFence.com) and Quebec celebrity singer Marie-Chantal Toupin, all of whom are members of the Le Château & Dress for Success Advisory Council.

So what does this all mean in non-pr terms?
Well, firstly, most of my readers already know that I am the spokesperson for LE CHÂTEAU, rarely not seen in their clothes whether on TV, red carpets, or simply at carpool drop off or pick up. I am also the world’s biggest cheerleader for women’s success, especially disadvantaged women who need help getting back on their feet. So, this partnership with LE CHÂTEAU and Dress For Success is an initiative made in heaven for me.
This also means that a woman who finds herself on her own, needing support, will get that support. She will receive mentoring, strategies, and other assistance from Dress For Success for helping her transition into the workforce. She will also receive a shopping voucher to be used at participating LE CHÂTEAU stores where she will be given an in-store stylist and career apparel for job interviews and work… FOR FREE.
